I am an Indian cricket fan and I always want my team to win at any cost, but on Sunday, New Zealand defeated India by 41 runs and took the trophy away from India. It was a great match to watch indeed, but I felt bad as an Indian fan. I liked the way New Zealand built their innings despite losing two quick wickets. The way they played show they came fully prepared for the series, while the Indian players looked a little unprepared and little casual. I feel sad the way the Indian batters played against new Zealand. The way Shreyas Iyer, Shubham Gill, Ravindra Jadeja played show something was wrong on their part. They need to be a little sincere in their approach.
While on the same turf Nitish Reddy and Harshit Rana played brilliantly. And not to mention Virat Kohli, once again he played his innings like a king. I don't know what's wrong with the Indian team. I have not seen Indian players playing so casually in the recent past. I also feel sorry for young captain Shubham for not steering his team to victory. His own performance has also gone down. I think team management should do something to improve performance of the team.
