The first attempt to prosecute the cases against Comey and James, as ordered by President Trump, was tossed out as the prosecuter, Lindsey Halligan, wasn't really a prosecutor. She may have been legally qualified but had never, ever, prosecuted anyone before and to take on a former FBI director and an Attorney General as your first cases would seem rather ambitious.
This all seems silly but the real concern is that if you annoy or oppose the president you face the possibility, or actually high probability, of the legal system being weaponised against you. This is not right.
For the rest of the world, don't just laugh at this as it is not the only country where this is happening and in some countries they just skip the trial part. We must all protect our people and our legal systems.
