The proverb “what goes around comes around” teaches one of the most powerful lessons in life — the law of cause and effect. Every action we take, whether good or bad, eventually returns to us in some form. In today’s world, where competition, selfishness, and dishonesty often seem to dominate, many people forget this timeless truth. Yet life has a way of balancing itself. Those who spread negativity, lies, or harm may temporarily succeed, but sooner or later, they face the consequences of their deeds.
On the other hand, those who live with honesty, kindness, and integrity attract goodness in return. When we help others selflessly, stand up for what is right, and treat people with respect, we receive peace, trust, and happiness back in our lives. This cycle of karma reminds us that our choices shape our destiny.
If every individual acted with awareness of this principle, society would become more just, compassionate, and harmonious. It is time we all remember that every word and action leaves an imprint — and what we give to the world will, indeed, come back to us.
