Known for his cool and calm demeanour, former Pakistani captain Babar Azam again failed to ignite his form on Tuesday, in a match against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. He was looking very good and as a fan I thought today he will get his rhythm back, but he was clean bowled by W Hasaranga on 29. One of the most stylish batters of his generation, Babar has to get his form back. His fans all across the world are waiting for the day when Babar will start hitting shots flawlessly once again. It happens with cricketers very often. It happened with Mohammad Yousuf, Younis Khan, Mohammad Azharuddin, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and of late Virat Kohli, but they all had returned with greater power, so I am waiting for Babar to return.
He is a great player indeed and I am sure he will surprise everyone once he starts going. It takes time to regain form and confidence, so we should have patience.
