Slowly but steadily, climate change is tightening its grip on the world, bringing with it deadly disasters. It stands as one of the greatest challenges facing humanity in the modern era (“Families flee Indian capital’s toxic air, acrid smog,” Oct. 16, Gulf Today website).
In today’s fast-paced world, it is crucial to prioritise the protection of nature and work towards a planet free from the dangers of global warming. If left unaddressed, this crisis will lead us down a path with no return. I commend the efforts of world leaders, especially those from developing nations, who are showing a sincere commitment to confronting the threat of climate change. The need of the hour is to unite in the fight against global warming, fully implement the strategies already in place, and act with genuine intent to make the world safer for both current and future generations.
