The 21st edition of the International Education Show at Expo Centre Sharjah concluded on Saturday. It managed to attract more than 30,000 visitors, including students and parents.
Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), this year’s edition features more than 100 leading universities and academic institutions from over 16 countries, including the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Hungary, the United States, Georgia, Malaysia, and India.
I also visited the show on Friday with my daughter. It was a great platform for those who want to explore higher education in the UAE.
I come from India and I was of the opinion that I will send my daughter to India after she finishes high school to pursue engineering or medical, but my visit to the International Education Show has changed that view completely. I was very excited to see lots of wonderful options available in the UAE.
I interacted with lots of consellors from different universities like the American University of Sharjah (AUS), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD)- Abu Dhabi, University of Sharjah, and many other universities. I feel very relieved to see so many options.
