I am 42 years old. “Man, you look so young!” It’s something I hear often and at times ironically too. A flattering question for sure but what lies beneath it is something more widespread. Many of us are inaudibly apprehensive about aging, unsure how to feel about the changes in our bodies, our skin, and even our energy. All of us love to look trendy, hip hop, struggle to impress the others and the real justification is all on our socials that we sit glued to it. Over time what I’ve learned: while we can’t stop time, we can change how we live within it.
There is no intonation I follow. What I do trail is a rhythm of life that keeps me feeling good and that’s what people see. I hate taking others’ stress and if I am flipped off with someone, I am a person who never shuns depending on the scenario and that might also end up in keeping the other person shut. I stay physically active because I love to be fit as a fiddle not just because I want to attire skinny outfits and show off my body but making me fit is what I love which in turn boosts my confidence and personality.
