Firefighting is one of the few occupations where going to work can lead to danger, even deaths, and their bravery is to be respected. Now, however they are facing a new danger, being arrested. Two firefighters have been arrested by federal agents while battling the Bear Gulch fire in Washington.
It seems farcical to suggest but why not let them finish fighting the fire before handcuffing them and taking them to who knows where? They will be too tired to run away.
Yes, American freedom is a joke but brave individuals should be protected. How can a country allow masked individuals, I assume they are all ICE agents, to grab people off the street and confine them before probably sending them ‘home’ to countries they fled?
America was once ‘The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave’ and it may still have the brave but less of the free.
