There are so many uncertainties in the world today. The hunger in Gaza among the children seems to be perpetual. The war in Ukraine seems infinite. Ukraine is even unable to find young men to fight. European nations are augmenting their defence budgets, to thwart possible Russian offensives in the near or the distant future. The all-pervading tariffs continue to spread despair in many countries. Now, India may have to manage 25 per cent plus 25 per cent, a total of 50 per cent import duty for all exports to USA. How will Indian exporters sell their products to the USA?
How will all the glitches of our world get resolved? Common, ordinary people are in anguish everywhere. The rising prices of foods, in most countries, is also impacting people’s diets and health. At times, it is melancholic. I keep searching for a silver lining, on the numerous dark clouds, but I do not see any. Perhaps time will resolve the many issues that plague our world today.
