Though Indian pace bowler Mohd. Siraj has confirmed the participation of Jasprit Bumrah in the fourth Test @ Old Trafford, on Wednesday, whether it could prove to be a boom time for the Indian team is a matter to be experienced. It is more so, as we will be missing the services of Akash Deep and Nitish Kumar Reddy due to their injuries. Unfortunately, Arshdeep Singh too is ruled out of the Manchester Test due to his hand injury.
Hence, it is quite possible that the Haryana pace bowler, Anshul Kamboj, may be included as the third pace bowler. We sincerely hope that he proves his worth, like Akash Deep, to win the 4th Test at Manchester and level the 5 Test series to two all. Incidentally, if Pant is not able to keep wickets, it would be better to allow KL Rahul to keep wickets and include a specialist batsman, instead of Jurel, who is tipped to keep the wickets.
Whatever it may be, it is going to be a real headache for both the captain and coach to select the playing XI for the crucial Test. Anyway, we wish Gill and his team the best @ Manchester.
