In less than a year of power, the US President Donald Trump has produced a visibly strong and wealthy opponent Elon Musk, who was the main figure in financing the presidential campaign in 2024.  Elon Musk, who parted ways with President Donald Trump, has announced his own “America Party” to give a tough time to his ex-friend Donald Trump (“Trump campaign financier Musk announces forming of ‘America Party,’” July 6, Gulf Today website).

According to the details, the dispute between Republican President Donald Trump and his main campaign financier Elon Musk took another fractious turn on Saturday when the space and automotive billionaire announced the formation of a new political party, saying Trump's "big, beautiful" tax bill would bankrupt America.

A day after asking his followers on his X platform whether a new US political party should be created, Musk declared in a post on Saturday that "Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom."

There is no doubt that for Elon Musk it will not be a piece of cake to challenge one of the most powerful men on earth, Donald Trump, but Musk, a successful businessman who owns the world’s number one social media platform “X,” will definitely use it against the US President Donald Trump throughout his second time, not consecutive, presidential tenure and give him a tough time.
