As schools and colleges across UAE shut their doors for the long summer break, we are entering a familiar yet evolving season. Today’s fast-paced world, parents often find themselves stretched thin. Encouraging families to see the summer holidays is not just as a time for rest, but as a valuable period for growth, bonding, and life beyond academics.
I know there are parents out here who are looking for ways to edifice their children’s time meaningfully. Summer camps, art workshops, sports coaching, and hobby clubs are seeing an upbeat in interest. While these programs keep children engaged and social, many also provide practical value —teaching new skills, encouraging creativity, and giving children a sense of accomplishment.
At the same time, families are increasingly realising that learning isn’t limited to classrooms or camps. As the holiday season unfolds across one message rings clear: the most valuable part of summer may not be the trips or camps — but the chance to connect, grow, and rediscover the joy of unhurried time together and that’s what we all need these days with many unprecedented events happening in the world.
