Incredible city

After living in India for 30 years, I had the opportunity to come to Dubai few years ago. I was born and brought up in India and had no clue about the other parts of the world. I had knowledge of history and geography which I had gathered from reading books in school and college, but Dubai has opened my eyes. I saw the entire world here. For the first time I met Egyptians, Sri Lankans, Pakistanis, South Africans, Lebanese, Australians, Chinese and many more people from different countries. Knew about their food habits, culture and behaviour.

I like interaction with people from different countries. I developed a taste of Arabic, Emirati, Sri Lankan and Palestinian cuisines. Even in my wildest imagination I had never ever imagined that food can be so diverse. Even I get to eat fruits from different parts of the world. I got to feel that the entire world is residing in Dubai. I feel I would have been deprived from many things had I not arrived in Dubai. Whatever have I learnt from reading books, I feel I got understanding of the globe by living in Dubai. No wonder people fall in the love with this incredible city.
