Congratulations to Carlos Alcaraz for his remarkable bounce back, from two sets to nil down to take the next three sets to win the French Open against the world number One, Jannak Sinner. It was an epic encounter which went for nearly six hours, which I feel may be a World Record in Tennis history.
I remember the epic Wimbledon Finals match of 2008 between the then World No.1 Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, which too went for nearly five hours, before Nadal prevailed over Federer to lift his maiden Wimbledon title.
Though Nadal had taken the first two sets, Federer bounced back to win the next two to level two all. But the young and energetic Nadal prevailed over Federer during the deciding set and lifted the trophy. These matches were real treat to the Tennis fans all over the World.
