Kick out the violence

Why do some sports seem to be a cultural victim of violence? With the death of two supporters and hundreds of injuries after the championships in Milan and a smaller but less damaging riot here in Melbourne is it truly a result of sporting supporters or is it just a reflection of society in general?

No one wants to see stadiums locking out supporters, and the only way to see your team playing is on expensive streaming services so something must be done.
