After the Pahalgam attack and deaths in Kashmir, India and Pakistan are going through a tense relationship. A full-scale war between India and Pakistan would be sad and unfortunate. In any war, both sides agonies, both sides lose soldiers and civilians, both sides hurt economically. Hence, it would be best for both countries to resolve the issues through diplomatic channels.
Dialogue is always better than wars. India and Pakistan are both developing countries; neither side can afford a war. Both need money for citizens’ welfare, not wars. There are already wars in Ukraine in Europe, Gaza in the Middle East and Sudan in North Africa. We do not want another war in Asia.
As Prime Minister Modi had counselled President Putin, on 16 September 2022, “Now is not an era for war.”
