Sharjah calling

The 43rd edition of Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) has rolled out its red carpet for visitors. It is in full swing. I have been attending SIBF for almost 18 years and I always enjoy my time there. With each passing year, the book fair is getting bigger and bigger. Like every year, this year too I had been to SIBF twice so far and I attened many workshiops, had the opportunuty to listen to many global writers, and purchased lots of books. This is one event of Sharjah I eagerly wait for the whole year.

I make sure to take my children with me. They should develop the habit of adoring books. I really appreciate the Sharjah Government for organising such a lovely event and making it free. My children took lots of books and got them signed from the authors. I am sure they will feel inspired once they read the book. Even I had the opportunity to meet lots of chefs at the Cookery Corner. I attended their sessions for the first time and they were all great. My family also enjoyed their time at the Cookery Corner event.
