This was my first Ramadan in the UAE. I had heard a lot about it while I was away. This year I had the opportunity to come to Sharjah and I enjoyed Ramadan here. Every mosque had an Iftar tent and I would go almost daily to break my fast there. I had the opportunity to break my fast at many places in Sharjah like Al Majaz, University City area, Muwaila, Kalba and Rolla. I enjoyed food and hospitality.

Young volunteers were there to serve us food. It was an amazing experience. I had the opportunity to have Iftar with people from many nationalities. We all would sit together and eat. I had never experienced such things anywhere in the world. I had known about Makkah and Madina but I have never been there. This was the best Ramadan I had ever experienced. I appreciate the Sharjah Government for managing lovely tents.
