Pakistani soldiers arrive at the site attacked by terrorists.

It was a highly condemnable terrorist attack on Pakistan Naval airbase in Turbat, a town in Pakistan’s troubled province Balochistan. Pakistan Army is fully capable of razing the new wave of terrorism, which is spreading dramatically across Pakistan (“Six killed in militant attack on Pakistan naval base, say officials,” March26, Gulf today website).

Militants attacked a Pakistani naval air base killing at least one paramilitary soldier while security forces killed all five of the assailants in a retaliatory fire, officials said on Tuesday.

The newly elected civilian government should take serious action against the lawlessness in the country. Pakistan has already sacrificed more than 80,000 civilians and more than 10,000 paramilitary forces in the war against terrorism. 

It’s high time to fight against the new wave of terrorism in the country unitedly and eliminate the menace of militancy once and for all. I am sure once again the brave people of Pakistan and its armed forces will fight ruthless terrorism and bring about peace back in the country.
