Stylish Shilpa

Shilpa Shetty was definitely one of the popular actresses of 90s. Even though she feels she did not get the due she deserves, but I feel she had huge fan following. As an audience, I feel she was great actress of her time and we loved her. (“Shilpa Shetty says Bollywood actresses were glamorous in 1990,” Feb.19, 2024, Gulf Today.) She did not get much chance as 90s was completely dominated by Madhuri Dixit, Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Raveena Tandon and Aishwarya Rai, but despite this Shilpa had managed to create her mark in the Bollywood.  She had managed to carve a niche with her acting and dancing skills. Who can forget her characters in films like, “Main Khiladi Tu Anari,” “Dhadkan,” “Indian,” “Rishtey,” and “Life in a Metro.” She also has given lots of iconic numbers, which are still etched in everyone’s mind. But it is wonderful to know that we would be able to see her in the upcoming OTT series “Indian Police Force.” I feel she will get more success in her second innings.
