Suitable punishment

Let the punishment fit the crime and so it has been done with a woman who threw a bowl of food at a fast-food worker made to work two months in the industry. An interesting one-off punishment that could be generalised.

As a teacher I mostly received compliments from parents and students but not always and although the odd email questioning a test result was something that in most cases was unnecessary the parent that the school took an intervention order against was a much more serious case. There are more reports of a few parents being banned from entering a school property and from listening to ex-colleagues who are still teaching there should be more.

Rather than banning them, maybe they should be made to work as a teacher assistant to see how challenging the job is. Many parents had a taste of ‘teaching’ during the COVID lockdowns when home schooling became the norm, and many did not like it. Revenge is best served cold or in this case with a few boxes of chalk attached.
