Humanitarian aid

The UAE aid trucks cross the Rafah checkpoint into Gaza.

The humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates to its brotherly Palestinian people at the time of their hardship is highly laudable (“10 UAE Red Crescent trucks cross into Gaza carrying food aid,” Nov.26, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, in implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE is continuing its humanitarian aid drive to support the Palestinian people, as 10 Emirates Red Crescent trucks crossed into Gaza carrying food aid. As part of Operation ‘Gallant Knight 3’, which aims to alleviate the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip during these dire circumstances, the aid contained 16,520 food parcels weighing 247.8 tonnes.

Palestinian brothers and sisters are looking toward their brotherly countries to help them cope with the disastrous humanitarian crisis in Gaza. I hope the world will also help the Palestinian people in playing their vital role to show their love and care for the people in Gaza.
