Summer holidays

Whenever I surmise of summer holidays I reminisce about my good old days in school when I used to pack my bags and head back home for a month to spend a cherry good time enjoying the rain and get a little respite from the heat.  If I had a child I would have always opted for July to head for recess with my family provided I get my leave sanctioned.

I am going to be relieved of not seeing those huge yellow colour school buses of various sizes plying on the roads picking up students to school early morning. I despise the early morning preparations of getting ready but we have to live with it.

Whilst I head out and approach my car many teachers and students rush to catch the bus and some loving parents will cuddle and kiss their children before they board the bus. At least for some time take a break as schools will be shut for the summer holidays.

In the course of my summer holidays back in high school, I could not reckon life without TV, video games, and movies. Nothing else was there to do as I was a coddled boy and there was not much to do out unlike now. I could take a nap sitting indoors most of the time doing some creative work.

Many school-going students are all stirred and might be in a fix of what they are going to do for this summer. Think out of the box and opt for yourself. I hope the schools that are at the top list have assigned their students various projects and assignments to keep them occupied instead of sleeping, eating, and sitting in front of the net twenty-four seven. One of the best times for parents to guide them and make them do some creative work at home that would help them move on in life.
