I went out with my family on Wednesday evening for Eid shopping in Sharjah. It was great to be in Rolla area. All the shops were open in the night. People were busy bargaining for the best price. It was the first time I had gone out in the night after the Covid-19 pandemic. Great to see people shopping and eating on the eve of Eid Al Fitr.

Children were chirping with joy and looked happy.  I have been celebrating Eid in Sharjah for almost 17 years and I always love celebrating the festival in the UAE. Sharjah looks amazing during the festival. Shops, malls and souks all were open till late in the night.

People move around the whole night. This is one of the safest places on earth. My children always go out with their mother in the night for last-minute shopping. I feel so secure here. I appreciate the Sharjah government for making Sharjah so safe and secure.

Residents don’t even think twice before going out anywhere in the night.
