The Prophet's Mosque in Madina.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) lives in the hearts of all Muslims no matter which country they belong to, and everyone’s desperate desire is to visit Masjid Nabawi, the Prophet (PBUM)’s Mosque, in the Holy Month of Ramadan and to perform Umrah. Madinah Munawwarah is one of the two most-loved cities to the Ummah (“Over 10 million worshippers visit Prophet’s Mosque since the start of Ramadan,” April 3, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, the Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia’s Medina city received more than 10 million worshippers since the start of Ramadan, state news agency (SPA) reported.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has provided services to the worshippers at the Grand Mosque including packets of the holy Zamzam water, multilingual guidance, encircling the Holy Kaaba and distribution of tracking bracelets to children to protect them from getting lost amid the throngs.I am sure the people who got a chance to visit the Masjid Nabawi, the Prophet (PBUM)’s Mosque, in the Holy month of Ramadan and to perform Umrah are the luckiest on the earth.

In 10 days of the Holy Month of Ramdan the Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia’s Medina city received more than 10 million worshippers. It is so amazing and it shows the love and respect of the Muslim Ummah toward its Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Muslims from all over the world perform Umrah throughout the year. The Umrah is an Islamic pilgrimage to Makkah that can be undertaken any time of the year, in contrast to the Hajj, which has specific dates according to the Islamic lunar calendar. I am sure millions of people are on their way to Madina to pay their love and respects to the beloved Muhammad (PBUH as the world is going through its challenging times like climate change, natural disasters and deadly wars. I would like to request the Umrah pilgrims to pray during their visit for the challenges the world is facing nowadays.
