Air Arabia Abu Dhabi is adding more destinations to its network to serve more passengers across the globe.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the first low-cost carrier in the capital, celebrated the launch of its inaugural flight to Kolkata, India with a ceremony at Abu Dhabi International Airport (“Air Arabia launches first flight to Kolkata from Abu Dhabi,” March 16, 2023, Gulf Today). It is great news for all those who come from the eastern part of India or West Bengal. Direct flights to Kolkata will save a lot of time for them.

Though we have several flights from the UAE to Kolkata, having Air Arabia from Abu Dhabi is something which was the need of the hour. Lots of Indians from Kolkata, Odisha and Bihar reside in Abu Dhabi and for them it is a welcome news. They can fly back to their home country even during the short break. Air Arabia has chosen the right time to share good news with us. The launch just before Ramadan is great. Abu Dhabi residents can plan their journey for Eid Al Fitr and Ramadan. I am a big admirer of Air Arabia, I have been flying with Air Arabia Sharjah from 2009 and I appreciate their amazing service. They have always been on time and their communication is always very clear with passengers. No wonder it has become one of the most bankable carriers in just a few years.
