We all watched the 95th Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday night. It was indeed amazing. Watching so many stars at one place is something incredible. I was excited to see India winning two Oscars. We Indians felt proud on this achievement. Getting Oscars is not an easy feat. This needs actual substance. I also appreciate the makers of “RRR” for giving us such a lovely film which is making waves on the global stage. Credit goes to: The Elephant Whisperers” also for giving us such a touching story. I could not believe in the story of it when I first read about it in the newspapers. “The Elephant Whisperers” deserves the award. I am sure this will inspire many other filmmakers also to listen to their heart and share stories with the world.

I also appreciate the Academy for bringing Deepika Padukone and Malala on board. They are global stars. It was wonderful to see both of them.  Deepika, who was among the presenters at the Oscars alongside Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Riz Ahmed, Glenn Close, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors, walked the coveted carpet as she picked a classic Hollywood look for the event with an all-black attire.

Deepika took to her Instagram and shared her look. She can be seen dressed in an off-the-shoulder jet-black gown, serving old-Hollywood glamour. She looked every bit elegant. I appreciate Deepika for wearing a very decent outfit. Seeing Malala at the event is also inspiring. She has inspired thousands of young girls worldwide. She is the youngest Nobel laureate and a global icon. Thank you academy for respecting our icons at the global platform.
