Renowned American photographer Steve McCurry interacted with his young fans in Sharjah at Xposure festival at Expo Centre. It was a great moment for young guns. They could see and talk to the legendary photographer who has been in the business for five decades (“Steve McCurry enthrals fans at Xposure,” Feb.13, 2023, Gulf Today.)

At this year’s seventh International Photography Festival, “Xposure,” McCurry participated in a special signing ceremony at the Kinokuniya Pavilion. Fans and visitors alike gathered to take pictures with the celebrated photojournalist.

I am sure young children will feel inspired after meeting Steve.  The 7th annual edition of the ‘Xposure’ International Photography Festival offers exciting opportunities for children, teens and young photography enthusiasts to learn, play, engage and contribute to the seven-day event concluding on Feb.15.

I feel this is a wonderful event and those who have an interest in photography should attend the event. They will get to see works from across the world.  I feel more and more young children should visit to get exposed to themselves to such exhibitions. This will help their imagination. I really appreciate the Sharjah Government for hosting such exhibitions.
