Dubai is preparing for New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Burj Khalifa, through its huge annual show, which is watched by hundreds of thousands of people who join the joyful celebrations to enjoy an unforgettable atmosphere on this night. In this year’s session, Emaar is holding a stunning show of lasers, lights and fireworks in downtown Dubai to welcome the year 2023 (“Dubai prepares for a new record on New Year’s Eve,” Dec.24, 2022, Gulf Today online edition.)

I have been attending the show for many years. It is wonderful to be at the Burj Khalifa on the eve of the New Year. The environment there is amazing and electrifying.  People from across the globe throng the site to witness the New Year. I also appreciate the Dubai Government for managing such a huge crowd so smoothly.  This year, the celebrations for me are going to be very special as my parents have come down from India and I want them to be at the Burj Khalifa with me to feel the energy of Dubai. This is for the first time my parents will attend such a show, so they are also very much excited to be part of the special night.
