Sharjah is one of the seven Emirates of the UAE. It is famous for its beautiful heritage, libraries, colleges and universities. The new buildings projects at the University of Kalba will be the House of Wisdom and a new attractive marvel in Sharjah. His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inspected on Thursday the new buildings project in the University of Kalba (“ Sheikh Sultan inspects work progress in University of Kalba,” Nov.17, Gulf Today website).

During his tour, the Sharjah Ruler was briefed on the construction work in the new buildings, which includes an administrative building with offices, archives, council, a medical clinic, care room and a chapel. The University of Kalba building also includes three buildings for male colleges and another for female students, each containing 20 classrooms, 11 laboratories, two halls for visual presentations, a library, cafeteria, theatre, prayer rooms and administrative offices.

The Ruler of Sharjah also directed the addition of more services for students, marking the diversity between air-conditioned areas and green spaces, and the provision of parking lots and separate entrances that facilitate entry and exit movement and reduce the distance between parking lots and colleges. People of Sharjah are very lucky because their visionary leadership always put them first and makes sure the residents of Sharjah get a high standard of education. An educated society plays a vital role in the prosperity of the country.
