We celebrated the Festival of Lights Diwali in Dubai with family and friends. Almost every Indian house was illuminated and it was a great sight. We went out to meet and greet our friends on this auspicious occasion.

By living in Dubai and the UAE we don’t feel nostalgic about it. We get here whatever we need to celebrate the festival in the UAE. Indian expats love the UAE and feel equally safe and secure here. President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated all those celebrating Diwali in the UAE and around the globe.

This was a great moment for us. We feel touched by these messages from the Rulers. This shows how much care they have for us.  That’s why Indians consider the UAE their second home.
