What a terrific performance by young and agile Afghanistan cricket team. Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets to qualify for the Super 4 stage of Asia Cup 2022, at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah on Tuesday. Afghans are looking well prepared for the Asia Cup. They have defeated first Sri Lanka and now Bangladesh, this shows they are fully prepared for the tournament. I really appreciate Mohammad Nabi for leading his team from the front.

They deserve praise for their effort. It is incredible to see them on the field. But at the same time it is sad to see Bangladesh team doing so badly. Despite having veterans in their side like Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Naim, Mahmudullah, Saifuddin and Mustafizur, they could not stop Afghanistan.

Hundreds of Bangladeshi fans had assembled at the stadium with the hope to witness a good match on Tuesday, but they all felt devastated. Actually it is not the win or loss, fans go to watch a good contest, which was completely missing from the match. Bangladeshi players looked at loss throughout the match.
