Like any other cricket fan, I too watched the India-Pakistan clash on Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. As expected the much-awaited match generated lots of excitement till the end. Thousands of fans who went to watch Babar Azam and Virat Kohli must be disappointed as both of them failed to create the impact in their first encounter. But I got happy to see Hardik Pandya and Naseem Shah. Both of them were at their best on Sunday.

Pandya as we all know is a mature and experienced player by now, but debutant Naseem is the new pace sensation. He has the potential to go a long way. Despite issues with his fitness, Naseem gave his best. This is simply incredible. The entire stadium clapped for his determination and dedication, even TV commentators were all praise for this young prospect. Though we all did miss Saheen Shah Afridi, Naseem did his best on behalf of his senior partner to lead his team. I am sure the coming matches will generate more excitement, because this is just the beginning.
