Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja

It is sad to see Chennai Super Kings (CSK) doing so badly at this year Indian Premier League. They have lost 9 out of 13 matches they have played so far. One of the most popular franchises of the tournament, they have failed to entertain their fans at this year’s edition. Not only have CSK performed badly in the matches, they have also dented the image of their franchise by creating a mess outside the ground as well. Everything looked unusual for CSK this year since the beginning of the tournament. They started with the announcement of Ravindra Jadeja as their skipper just before the tournament.

Then Jadeja had to relinquish his captaincy in the middle and later he was dropped from the team also. Meanwhile, another important CSK batter, Ambati Rayudu, on Saturday created a stir when he tweeted that the ongoing Indian Premier League will be his last edition of playing in the tournament.

But minutes later, Rayudu deleted the retirement tweet. And we all know that, another veteran player, Suresh Raina, was not even picked by the franchise during the auction round. I don’t know what’s happening at the CSK camp at the moment, but I am sad to see them doing so badly. This has hampered their performance as well.  I have been a huge fan of CSK and I am feeling dejected. Hope they fix their issues and bounce back next year.
