Australian team celebrate victory in the final of the ICC Women Cricket World Cup.

Australia’s win against England in the Women’s World Cup final shows the level of class Australian women cricketers demonstrated with their skills on the cricket ground throughout the tournament.

It’s a huge achievement and honour for Australia, and Australian women cricket team as they won the final of Women’s World Cup for a record 7th time (“Australia beat England to win Women’s World Cup for record 7th time,” April 4, Gulf Today website).

Australia, led by a sublime 170 from Alyssa Healy, rewrote the record books to beat a valiant England by 71 runs in the Women’s World Cup final in Christchurch on Sunday. Australia amassed a daunting 356 for five but the defending champions England, faced with a record target, kept up the run rate but ran out of wickets to be dismissed for 285 in the 44th over, with Nat Sciver unbeaten on 148.

There is no doubt that Australia is king of cricket. Both men and women cricket teams are super. The cricketing world should learn from Australia how Australia is producing class cricketing talent that is hard to defeat whether it is men’s cricket team or women’s cricket team.
