The letter from Western envoys to vote against Russia was not a surprising move for Pakistanis because they know that our corrupt political leaders encouraged the bad habit among Western countries to dictate to Pakistan (“Pakistani premier hits out at Western envoys’ joint letter on Russia,” March 7, Gulf Today website).

Today’s Pakistan is different, corrupt leaders convicted by the top court of Pakistan are on the run. They refuse to return to Pakistan and face punishment awarded to them by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Their children say they are not Pakistanis so they are not answerable to the Pakistani courts for their wrongdoing and corruption.

The West will take some time to digest the reality of a new Pakistan in the honest and brave leadership of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and I am pretty sure sooner or later Western countries will realise the change and reality of Pakistan.

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan hit out on Sunday at Islamabad-based Western envoys who last week urged Pakistan to condemn Russia’s actions in Ukraine, asking them if they thought Pakistan was their “slave”.

Pakistanis are proud of their Prime Minister of Pakistan whose mission is to make Pakistan a welfare state and implement the rule of law where there will be no difference between rich and poor people.

I am sure that Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan’s response to the heads of 22 diplomatic missions, including those of European Union member states, is the response from the people of Pakistan.
