I am a Pakistani citizen, living in the UAE for more than a decade.  Every year during Eid Al Fitr, I travel to Pakistan to meet my family members and friends. But due to the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, travel all across the globe had become a tedious task. Lots of formalities are needed for travelling and that has discouraged many of us from flying out to our home country. Now, things are getting better. Dubai has scrapped the RT-PCR requirement now for passengers travelling from Pakistan and Pakistan also abolished pre-boarding PCR tests for UAE travellers. This is great news for all Pakistanis living in the UAE. Now we can fly home and return smoothly.

We appreciate and thank both the governments for making things easier for us. We are all longing to go home for a very long time.

Hope this Eid is going to be memorable for all of us. Now we all can fly without extra baggage. I hope and pray the pandemic should be over soon, so that we all can restart our normal life once again. I also appreciate the UAE leadership for managing the toughest time with ease. They protected and looked after us. I have no words to express my gratitude for them.
