The deadly Afghan episode has just ended, the whole of Afghanistan is facing a terrible life just because the country was at war for more than 4 decades. The word ‘war’ is so horrifying. It’s an established fact that once the war has started nobody knows when it will end.

Negotiations are the only way to settle differences between the countries. War is not a solution to any problem. War only brings heavy losses of innocent precious lives, destruction for the countries fighting each other. It has painful consequences for not only the countries who are engaged in the conflict but also the whole world feels aftershocks in shaping relationships between the countries. I am sure the war between Russia and Ukraine will impact badly on the whole world; prices of petrol, foodstuffs and other things will rise sharply. It is high time that powerful countries work for eternal peace in the world rather than choosing an option of war.

I hope the sense of peace will prevail and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine will come to an end soon.
