One of the most competitive cricket leagues of the world, the Indian Premier League (IPL) started its auction on Saturday. Lots of national and international players got picked up by different teams.

It is good to see youngsters like Deepak Chahar, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, Prasidh Krishna, Shah Rukh Khan, Harshal Patel, Deepak Hooda, Natrajan and Ravi Bishnoi getting rewarded for their hard work.

This year, IPL has got two more teams, Gujarat Lions and Lucknow Super Giants, which will accommodate more players. A total of around 600 players are listed in the auction.

So many young players are getting lots of money which is a very good sign for Indian cricketers. This will motivate them to perform better and also encourage others to feel inspired. As we all know, national and domestic teams can only accommodate a few players so this IPL is a fantastic platform for all those uncapped players. They all work very hard to reach even a state level, then if they are not selected for the national team they feel disappointed. But the IPL is an amazing thing happening to Indian cricket. Everyone is getting noticed.

If the IPL has managed to help Indian players to be financially secure, then the country has also got to see many amazing cricketers who can be the future for Team India, like Harshal, Prasidh, Shah Rukh, Avesh and many more such players who are ready to serve the nation.  I appreciate BCCI for carrying the brand IPL to a greater height in all these years and running it nicely. I hope Indian cricket grows by leaps and bounds.
