Who says Valentine is only for couples?  With the COVID rules being slowly lifted and things getting back to normalcy many romanticist naughty lovers might be getting decked up for the upcoming “Valentine’s Day”.

It’s the day when people around the world celebrate Valentine’s Day, which is only second to Christmas when greeting cards are sold in masses and people prefer exhibiting their love to someone special.

We the men end up spending almost double the volume of what total women spend on this day and the money spent goes into buying chocolates, diamonds, exotic meals, flowers and various other unforgettable precious things that people love giving their beloveds.

I try to fathom the scenario as what do you think is the reason behind all men shelling out that extra hard-earned money to buy various items for their lovers?

Is it just for the sake of an almost ritual to buy something or genuinely a feeling to offer something special to their wives, girlfriends, or boyfriends taking into serious consideration that now Valentines do not mean loving the opposite sex? Or simply it means that men in the majority are a common romantic breed that love to display affection on this special day?

On the one hand, people are literally ‘drugged’ and influenced in this lovely weather, where Cupid works really hard to get two lovers together and on the other hand there are some men at work trying every bit to destroy and crush people’s emotions.

This is true especially if a couple indulges in a public show of affection towards their partners. Some of the cases go so bad that at times it ends up with an innocent couple’s death.

The idea is to have some quality time and peace with your loved one. Emotional or not, the day is meant to show someone’s feelings toward someone else. So many of us from various cultures and vultures in today’s society are caught up in our own heads that we forget the people around us but whatever it is, let it be your dad, mum, brother, sister spending time with your loved ones. It is the time that you may lose later if you don’t utilise it now.
