I don’t know why some motorists don’t follow traffic rules. What is wrong with them? Traffic rules are made for our safety and benefits. They made us to remain safe. Little conscious efforts can help everyone.  

I am shocked to read this news item because the UAE is one of the best countries in the world where traffic departments issue a driver’s licence after very good training. Each and every person here in the UAE who gets a licence is well trained.

Meanwhile, the Traffic and Patrols Directorate of the Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) warned of the dangers posed by some drivers who do not leave a sufficient safety gap behind vehicles, which resulted in 45,269 fines in 2021 in the emirate. The police stated that failing to leave a sufficient gap causes traffic accidents that result in human and material losses, and appealed to drivers to always abide by traffic laws and regulations to protect themselves.
