This is with reference to the news item published in Gulf Today online edition, “UAE banks to operate 6 days a week with 5 hours a day from Jan.2.”  This is indeed great news for all customers. Customers here are all excited to read this news on Friday. Now, we can visit any bank six days a week in the UAE.

As we all know the banking system is our lifeline, hence we need them the most, so by operating 6 days a week, banks can help UAE customers in a better and convenient way. This is really out-of-the-box thinking. We welcome this idea.

This new advisory will come into effect from Jan. 2, 2022. The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates’s instruction will help customers and employees both. Bank employees will have shorter days and this will keep them in good health also. Banking is a very stressful job, so 5 hours a day will keep them in very good mental and physical health.
