It must be tough being an actor, starring in a movie, then looking back with regret about that specific role. This week we are taking a look at actors who have publicly come out and said that they regret starring in certain roles.

While Jessica Alba isn’t an Oscar winning actress, she has still starred in some pretty big roles. But, Jessica regrets starring as the invisible woman in “Fantastic Four” in 2005. She has even said that the role made her want to get out of the acting world altogether. The unfortunate thing is that superhero movies are now becoming Oscar contenders but back in 2005 they most certainly were not.

Ryan Reynolds is such a good actor. But his role in “Green Lantern” was not his favourite. The movie came out in 2011 and Reynolds has admitted that he has never watched the it all the way through. He deserves to step away from these superhero movies and be given a weightier role. He could be a serious Oscar contender in he was given the chance.

Katherine Heigl was very vocal about her experience starring in “Knocked Up” back in 2007. She claims the role was ‘sexist’ and that the movie painted men in a much better view than women. She claims she had a hard time accepting that. The strange thing is that Heigl eventually went on to issue a public apology to the movie’s director Judd Apatow.
