Social media has become a sensationalised forum these days. Anybody can post anything from anywhere. Suddenly everyone feels empowered to voice on any subject irrespective of their authority. I feel we should utilise this platform for constructive activity. We should avoid spreading or talking negative on social media. People have created fake accounts and they start trolling anything. There has to be a system of checks and balances. I think social media platforms should check the person’s message before allowing it to be posted.

Then it will make everyone responsible. Though there are checks and balances still fake accounts should be checked or kept under control. It is high time we used social media sensibly. We should also keep in mind the quality of content and language. I see lots of newspaper or digital media outlets give lots of coverage to the social media posts. There is no harm in picking stories from there, but quality should be checked and controlled. We can avoid things that might affect our society and such posts should not be given coverage at all.
