Golden jubilee

A hearty salute to the glorious UAE flag

With major economic development projects achieved with a record time span, the country is now laying greater emphasis on the empowerment of its people.

Come December and the glamorous city of gold filled with alluring skyscrapers set on the hustle and bustle is almost decked up to commemorate the most important occasion in the calendar of Dubai.

Schools, attractive Shopping malls, top-notch companies, banks, and other leading govt establishments are seen well decorated with the UAE flags and balloons.

Reminiscing those good old days in school singing the national anthem so fluently. We captivated the “World expo 2020”. Not only have we won but we have conquered.

If I look back when I was a kid standing on the 19th floor of the World trade centre where my dad used to work Sheikh Zayed road was just barren. This young city has now turned out to be vibrant with immense world-class facilities available 24/7 catering to the needs of the public.

Time to thank every individual, resident, citizen, expatriate for all their hard work, support put forth to make this place moving and booming. At this time we also thank all those who are still volunteering to take care in assisting patients with COVID needs.

It is your motivation and a can-do attitude that made this metropolis a better place to stay. The UAE Govt has always been by our side and they did their bit to go the extra mile assisting and supporting us amidst all the turmoils. Calling for a celebration in chic.

Glitter, glamour, charisma, dazzling fireworks are some of the leading events in this city. Thus, the festival of the National day is held with great enthusiasm and participation from every resident as well as tourists.

With major economic development projects achieved with a record time span, the country is now laying greater emphasis on the empowerment of its people.

As the air fills with merriment the public is afforded easy access to all the great monuments in the city and the popular attraction are given a heavy note of festive mood as events adorn the sights.

Being an Indian expatriate raised in Dubai all my life I consider this my home sweet home. Extolling my wishes and to our visionary Leader His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for his passion, patience, power, innovation, positive thinking and the freedom he has given to each one of us. We wish Dubai the very best of luck and we hope your year has started well with a big bang. Thank You, UAE and we hope you take it to the next level.
