Who does not love curling up on the sofa after a long day and watching a really good series or movie? Most of us do, so this week we bring you a great selection of some of the best TV shows and movies to watch right now.

“New Amsterdam” is a medical drama which is on its fourth season. I do enjoy this show, although I must admit “Grey’s Anatomy” steals my heart when it comes to medical dramas. “New Amsterdam” is more raw than “Grey’s Anatomy,” I can’t quite explain it so you’ll have to see for yourself. The characters are great and it is definitely worth watching.

“The Blacklist” TV show is still going with criminal Raymond Reddington, played by the brilliant James Spader, up to his usual antics. I lost interest in this show around season four when one of the main characters was killed (no spoilers here) but I am going to start watching it again. Spader has been nominated twice for a Golden Globe and the show has won several awards. Season nine started last month.

In other news, turn to our Sport pages to read about the football match between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. You might not know this but I am an avid football fan. I love watching the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League. That match was good, Ronaldo is just unbelievable. Do I have a favourite team? No I don’t, I love watching the best players and he is phenomenal to watch.
