India has been riding high after clinching the ODI and T20 series against England. But will Team India be able to wrap up the ODI series in their favour (“Bairstow, Stokes fire England’s successful chase to beat India, draw level,” Mar.27, Gulf Today).

With the ODI series tied 1-1, and there’s everything to play for. As for India, it will look to avoid a third straight ODI series defeat after the loss in Australia and the 0-3 drubbing in New Zealand.

After the emphatic show of power in the second ODI on Friday, England has signaled that the finale will be pulsating. And if the firepower continues, the world champions could well go home with the series under their belt.

The Friday tie was a power match in which England cracked 20 boundaries while India hit 14 sixes. Ben Stokes was the hardest of them all with 10 sixes in his 52-ball 99. The final encounter also promises to be cracker of a tie. May the best team win!
