Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government is the first government in Pakistan that has a motive to bring its people out of the poverty level, providing them support to earn for their lives (“Pakistani start-ups play vital role in boosting economy,” Feb.1, Gulf Today).

There is no doubt that Pakistan is a country with a 60 per cent young population. The nation is very intelligent, talented and hardworking.

The Pakistani nation only needs an honest leadership that makes sure that people will get equal opportunities both for their and the nation’s prosperity.

According to reports Pakistani start-ups are playing a vital role in boosting business growth in different fields. The government is enthusiastic about start-ups and has launched incubators in dozens of universities and tech schools, which it hopes will help develop the sector. Many people work at their stations at the National Incubation Centre (NIC), a start-up incubator, in Lahore, Pakistan.

NIC Lahore is the first of its kind incubation and acceleration platform, launched under the public-private partnership of Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom, IGNITE, Fatima Ventures and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).

For many of Pakistan’s farmers, long at the mercy of ruthless middlemen, an app enabling them to sell directly to clients could mean more money in their pockets.

One of the major points of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government is to empower people, providing opportunities to the people to start their small business will definitely lead the country to prosperity and it will surely boost the economy.

The need of the hour is to make sure the financial schemes from the government reach the people so that their businesses flourish. The schemes should be transparent.

There should be zero tolerance for corruption because corruption is damaging for a small country, Pakistan and its people are facing it in the shape of poverty, hunger and joblessness.

The government of Pakistan has to eradicate corruption once and for all, and people who are involved in corruption should be punished without any mercy.
