There is no doubt that the United Arab Emirates is a role model of tolerance, coexistence and peace for the whole world (“UAE is role model of tolerance, coexistence, peace: Pope Francis,” Gulf Today).

In the UAE, people from around the world live their lives with utmost freedom of religion, in peaceful and brotherly environment.

Pope Francis, Head of the Catholic Church has rightly praised the UAE’s approach that enhances the pillars of tolerance, coexistence and peace.

While receiving a UAE delegation that included members of the Emirati Embassy in Madrid and the Tolerance and Coexistence Training Programme of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), Pope Francis said that he has good memories of his visit to the country last February.

The UAE is a role model of coexistence and human fraternity and represents a meeting place among various civilisations and cultures, he said.

He looks forward to spreading and establishing the culture of peace, tolerance and coexistence in the world and building bridges of communication among various religions and cultures, he added.

All credit goes to the visionary leadership of the United Arab Emirates in making the country the best example for the whole world on tolerance, coexistence and peace.

The world is going thorough its most difficult time where people from different mindsets fight with each other in the name of religion, colour or culture. The world needs to be a place like the United Arab Emirates, where there is no difference between human beings on the basis of colour, religion and culture.

In the United Arab Emirates everyone has independence to exercise his or her religion, respect others’ religion and live their lives happily and peacefully.
