I Am Mother

We are really spoilt for choice when it comes to what movies to watch on Netflix. One could spend hours browsing all the available titles, which can be somewhat confusing. This week we are helping you out by taking a look at some of most interesting original movies to watch on the streaming service right now.

The futuristic I Am Mother sees a maternal robot raising a young teenage girl, actress Clara Rugaard, as her daughter. The film is full of surprises and the biggest one of all comes in the form of Hilary Swank who disturbs the robot-daughter relationship with some alarming news. The film came out in June and it’s definitely worth watching.

We can bet there are not many people who didn’t like Disney’s animation Jungle Book, which came out way back in 1967. If you did like it, then chances are you will love Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, by director Andy Serkis. The film was released in 2018 and is gritty enough to not feel like a children’s fairytale making it popular with audiences of all ages.

Another one we think you should watch it Bird Box. This movie was all over social media when it came out last year, it’s unusual and well worth watching. Sandra Bullock blindfolded and whispering to two children who are also blindfolded the entire movie might sound strange but you won’t be able to stop watching. Let us know your thoughts on the ending, which received mixed reviews from viewers.
